I have another site to share that lets you customize your manufactured goods– Design Your Own Converse. The sneaker pioneer has had another resurgence in popularity in the last couple of years (thanks to their purchase and style injection via Nike). Their designable shoes have style to spare with "double layered" options and funky fabric choices.

It is some serious fun to play with this site even if you would not buy the shoes. How cool can you make the shoes look? How ugly?
